Majestic temples and pristine jungle in hinterland
In 2000 we called this trip the "Cambodia Adventure Trip," because back then almost all the roads were just unpaved paths. But in recent years, the country is undergoing rapid development and more and more roads are being paved. But we still manage to find unpaved adventure trails every time, so we will keep the name 'Adventure trip' for now.
From the capital Phnom Penh we follow narrow paths along the Mekong to the north where we trek through the Jungle. Via shortcuts we arrive at the wondrous Angkor Wat we take a boat ride past floating villages and find ourselves on narrow paths. The route through the Cardamon Mountains and through the rainforest is challenging.
It is a very varied motorcycle trip that lets you see and experience every corner highlights and unknown routes in three weeks. It is also a great pleasure to meet the friendly people of this poor country.
