Day 1 - Departure to Rostock & Ferry to Sweden

Today the adventure begins. From home you will leave on your motorcycle towards Rostock in Germany, where the port is from where we will make the crossing to Sweden.

Depending on the wishes of the participants, we will see in advance whether we can riding together to Rostock Whether everyone independently to the port coming. So for those who want, the journey can already begin with a beautiful drive towards northern Germany.

In the evening, we gather at the harbor and We check in for the night boat to Trelleborg in Sweden. Once the engines are safely stowed aboard, the real adventure can begin.

During the crossing you get a comfortable sleeping pod at your disposal so you can start your Scandinavian adventure rested. The ferry crossing takes approximately 7 hours.

As the boat calmly moved across the Baltic Sea speed, we leave mainland Europe behind and get closer and closer to the vast nature of Sweden.

Day 2 - Starting offroad in Sweden | Gravel roads to Vittsjö

In the early morning, around 7 a.m., the ferry arrives in Trelleborg in the south of Sweden. After leaving port, our motorcycle journey through Sweden officially begins.

We first ride a short stretch through the city, but soon we leave the asphalt behind and the first gravel roads of this adventure motorcycle trip begin. This is exactly what Sweden is known for: endless dirt roads, quiet forests and vast natural areas where you can ride for miles without traffic.

During this first offroad day, we will drive towards Vittsjö, a beautiful region with forests, lakes and quiet nature roads perfect for all-road and adventure motorcycles.

Along the way, we regularly take time to stop, take photos and enjoy Swedish nature. We also use the tranquility of the surroundings for a simple lunch break outdoors.

At the end of the day we reach our first Back 2 Basic overnight spot in the middle of nature. We spend the night at a shelter, a typical Scandinavian shelter often located in beautiful places in nature.

Here we make a campfire on which we prepare our evening meal. The fire not only provides atmosphere and warmth, but also helps keep the mosquitoes at bay. Next to the shelter we set up several tents so that everyone has a comfortable place to sleep.

After a day of off-road riding through Sweden, we close the evening around the campfire and share the first stories of this special motorcycle trip. The adventure in the Swedish wilderness has now truly begun.

Day 3 Vittsjo - Vrigstad - Deeper into the Swedish wilderness

After our first night in the middle of the forest, we begin the day quietly. The smell of fresh coffee hangs in the cool morning air as we prepare ourselves a simple breakfast at our overnight spot. Then we pack up the bikes again and get ready for another day of this adventurous motorcycle journey through Sweden.

Today we drive further north, deeper and deeper into the Swedish countryside. The landscape changes slowly: the forests become denser, the roads quieter and the gravel paths seem to meander endlessly through the wilderness. Regularly we drive long stretches offroad over gravel roads, without even running into anyone.

This is exactly where a all-road motorcycle trip through Scandinavia is all about: pure freedom, dirt roads and the feeling that you are really on the road in one of Europe's most beautiful natural areas.

Along the way, we'll find a nice spot in nature to stop for our homemade lunch. For a moment the engine was off, enjoying the silence of the forest and then on into the adventure.

During the route we are increasingly treated to impressive views. Not only do the forests become more expansive, but the many lakes that lie in this area make for beautiful panoramas. The clear water, the silence of nature and the rough gravel roads make us stop frequently to take a picture and capture the moment.

These are the days that a off-road motorcycle journey through Sweden unforgettable: driving along endless gravel roads, surrounded by forests and lakes, with the feeling that the wilderness is all ours.

Day 4 Vrigstad - From forests to the Örebro region

After another night in the middle of the nature of Sweden we begin the day quietly at our shelter. While coffee is on the stove and we prepare a simple breakfast, we get ready for another day of adventure on the motorcycle.

Today we continue our off-road motorcycle journey through Sweden onward toward the north. The scenery is gradually changing. The forests are becoming more extensive and the lakes we pass along the way are becoming larger and more impressive. The landscape feels more rugged and pristine the further inland we drive.

Once again, the route consists of a nice variety of gravel paths, narrow forest roads and the occasional short connecting road. Especially around the region of Vrigstad we drive through vast areas of forest through which numerous dirt roads wind. This area is known for its peaceful nature, small lakes and endless gravel roads - perfect for an adventurous all-road motorcycle trip through Scandinavia.

Along the way we take time to enjoy the scenery, stopping frequently at a lake or clearing in the forest for a short break or to take a photo.

Further north, we drive toward the region around Örebro, a historic area known for its extensive nature and proximity to the great lake Hjälmaren. Although we avoid the hustle and bustle of the city, we find that the landscape here is still dominated by forests, lakes and quiet roads.

At the end of the day, we reach another beautiful Back 2 Basic overnight spot in the middle of nature. Like the previous evenings, we are staying at a shelter with campfire area, where we prepare dinner together.

Around the shelter we set up a few tents so that everyone has a comfortable place to spend the night. As the campfire crackles and dusk slowly falls over the Swedish forests, we conclude another impressive day of this adventurous motorcycle journey through Sweden.

Day 5 Orebro - Nybble - The northernmost point of the trip

After a leisurely start to the day with a homemade cup of coffee and fresh rolls at our overnight spot, we get ready for another leg of this adventurous motorcycle journey through Sweden.

Today we reach the northernmost point of our route. From here, the direction of our trip changes and we slowly steer the bikes westward. On quiet gravel roads and narrow forest trails we continue riding through the vast Swedish countryside.

The route remains a nice variety of unpaved gravel paths and quiet country roads, where once again we are surrounded by forests, lakes and the silence of Scandinavian nature. This is exactly what a all-road motorcycle trip through Sweden so special: endless nature, hardly any traffic and the feeling of being completely absorbed in the landscape.

At the end of the day, we drive toward Nybble, where we have a slightly more comfortable but still cozy overnight spot this night.

Here we stay in a cosy wooden house, where we can spend the night together. In the house there is a traditional wood-fired stove, which provides warmth and an authentic Scandinavian atmosphere.

After several nights Back 2 Basic in nature, this is a nice place to cook together, relax and look back on the many miles we have now driven through the Swedish wilderness.

Day 6 Nybble - Hillerstrop - Along the Great Lakes of Sweden

After a good night's sleep, we get ready for another day on the motorcycle. Today we slowly leave the northernmost part of our route and ride south again through the beautiful landscape of Sweden.

Our route first takes us along the quiet and natural Unden, a beautiful lake known for its clear water and the pristine nature surrounding it. The gravel roads along the lake make for a wonderful motorcycle ride with frequent views of the water and surrounding forests.

Further south, we reach the impressive Vättern, one of the largest lakes in Sweden. This huge lake provides spectacular views and a totally different feeling of space. The combination of water, forests and quiet roads makes this area particularly popular with motorcyclists who love nature and freedom.

After a day full of varied routes, we drive on toward Hillerstorp, where we spent our last Back 2 Basic overnight stay of this trip will have.

As earlier during the trip, we again spent the night at a shelter in the middle of nature, surrounded by some tents. Here we again make a campfire on which we prepare our evening meal.

As dusk slowly falls over the Swedish forests, we end the day as this trip was meant to be: relaxing by the campfire, with a well-deserved beer or perhaps a glass of whiskey in hand, while sharing the day's stories once again.

Day 7 Hillerstrop - Maribo ( Denmark )

After our last night in the middle of the nature of Sweden we start the day again with a simple breakfast and a cup of coffee at our shelter. Then we pack up the bikes for the final leg of this adventurous motorcycle trip through Scandinavia.

The first part of the route we still drive over unpaved roads and gravel paths, so we can fully enjoy typical Swedish off-road riding one more time. Slowly we leave the vast forests and lakes behind and drive towards the west coast of Sweden.

Our route takes us to Helsingborg, where we are working with the short ferry crossing crossing the narrow strait to Elsinore at Denmark.

After arriving in Denmark, we continue our way south via the through roads. The route takes us through the Danish countryside to Maribo, where we have the last overnight stay of this trip.

After several nights Back 2 Basic in nature, it's time for a little extra comfort here. We spend the night in a hotel, where a nice hot shower and a comfortable bed await us. A perfect time to wash off the dust of the gravel roads and look back on the adventure together one more time.

Over dinner or with a drink in hand, we reminisce about the many miles through the Swedish wilderness, the campfires in the forests and the special places we discovered along the way during this unique all-road motorcycle trip through Sweden.

Day 8 Maribo - Return trip home

After a good night's sleep and a sumptuous breakfast at the hotel at Maribo, begins the last day of this special motorcycle journey through Scandinavia.

This is the moment when we say goodbye to each other. After days of riding together through the nature of Sweden, campfires in the forest and many miles on gravel roads, from here everyone headed back home.

Some participants choose to go through the highway drive back, while others may want to enjoy the trip a little extra and would rather minor roads through Denmark and Germany take.

However the return trip goes, one thing is certain: this Back 2 Basic motorcycle trip through Sweden has created memories that will linger long after. The gravel roads, vast forests, quiet lakes and evenings around the campfire make this adventure an experience you won't soon forget.
