Indonesia Bali Lombok DeLuxe Relax 22 Days

Day 1 Departure

Today you will depart from Amsterdam or possibly other place to fly to Indonesia, Bali.

Day 2 Arrival Indonesia - Bali - Canggu

The 2nd day you will arrive in Indonesia on the island of Bali where the driver will be waiting for you to take you to Canggu. Canggu is about 1 hour drive from the airport. A popular beach resort where there is a lot to do like chilling at the beach, good cozy bars and restaurant but also many trendy and local stores.

Day 3 Canggu - Accommodation

Since many flights arrive late afternoon and evening, we use this day to acclimate from the trip.

After a good breakfast, explore the area on foot and possibly have lunch in the village or by the beach. There is a lot of surfing here and is also a great place to watch the sunset.

Day 4 Canggu - Munduk

As fairly soon after leaving the hustle and bustle of Canggu, we drive on small roads through rolling rice terraces with the sea in the background and, on a clear day, even Bali's middle mountains.

Then we drive inland and go and again many nice little roads through vast rice terraces and breathtaking views.

Near Pupuan, we will have lunch, a delicious local Balinese dish.

We then continue driving through the mountainous Sanghyang area while winding through the mountains before arriving in Munduk.

Day 5 Munduk - Sidemen

After breakfast we continue into the mountains towards Gunung ( mountain ) Bratan and stop briefly for a photo of the view of Lake Buyan. Then we continue and with the many monkeys along the road we arrive at a sacred temple for the Balinese called Pura Ulun Danu. This temple is also located on a lake.

We ride on and, while winding with sometimes sharp turns and steep descents, head toward Plaga to arrive at Kintamani.

At an altitude of over 1,700 meters, you will have lunch overlooking the lake and volcanic Mount Batur.

Then we descend and with Bali's highest mountain Gunung Agung in the background, we first drive to Bali's most sacred temple called Pura Besakih.

Driving a little further we will arrive in Sidemen, known for its beautiful rice terraces, you will sleep in the middle of them.

Day 6 Sidemen - Amed

We continue east, still winding along secondary roads toward Amlapura. Here we turn off and stop briefly at Taman Ujun, an old palace with beautiful gardens where the old king had his residence. Then we drive the mountain road that brings us to Amed. A beautiful winding and sometimes steep road overlooking the Bali Sea. You will stop here several times to take pictures.

Day 7 Amed - Padangbai

Today's route is short and first passes temple Pura Lempuyang. a sought-after place to take the ideal photo with Gunung Agung in the background.

We will have to take the busy through road to get to the port town of Padangbai. This is where the ferries and express boats go to the various islands around Bali.

Hotel is right on the harbor with a pool for relaxing.

Day 8 Padangbai - Sekotong ( Lombok )

Early in the morning we take the ferry and in 4 hours of sailing we are on Lombok.

Near the harbor here are several warung, local eateries, where you can eat a delicious Indonesian dish.

Less than 1 hour drive to the southwest of Lombok you will arrive in the area of Sekotong, a headland that is slowly developing.

Day 9 Sekotong - Accommodation

With a local fishing boat you will go snorkeling today at various spots near the islands. You will be amazed what the underwater world has to offer here, coral with many different colored fish in abundance.

On the smallest island with only 1 kiosk and pearly white beach, you can relax leaks and emulate the bounty feeling.

Day 10 Sekotong - Kuta

We continue driving down the headland along the pristine sea before crossing to the south side.A breathtaking road with incredible views of the rugged coastline. The asphalt is good but you will need this to drive the sometimes short steep sections.

Then you will arrive in the southern side of the headland and this area is even more beautiful with the winding roads through several villages and along the coast. Here many pristine white beaches await you, an undiscovered pearl of Lombok.

Stopping at Laut Biru in Selong Belanak for a delicious lunch on the beach is almost a must.

After that, it's only about an hour to Kuta. A bustling place with nice stores and restaurant.

The resort with 2 pools, good Spa, delicious cuisine and Adult Only you will be able to relax optimally.

Day 11 Kuta - Bayan

After a very good breakfast we get ready to continue driving the coastline. Through Lombok's new GP circuit we drive to Kerupuk where we can stop for a moment to see the local market.

Then we drive further north and climb the sometimes steep mountain road of Lombok's highest mountain the Rinjani. Arriving at the summit we descend steeply and then drive to Bayan via the plateau of Sembalun. The last few kilometers is a somewhat narrower and sometimes steep road along beautiful rice terraces.

Resort with traditional cottages with great views of the coastline and the top of 3,700-meter volcanic Mount Rinjani at the back.

Day 12 Bayan - Accommodation

In the morning, you will walk with a guide from the resort across rice fields and terraces to 2 waterfalls. You will have to walk through streams to reach them, but afterwards you can cool off under the huge mass of water coming down.

Then there is a short walk back where you will be picked up by a driver and taken back to the hotel.

Day 13 Bayan - Gili Trawangan/Meno/Air

After breakfast we descend 600 meters to drive along the coastal road to Bangsal. a beautiful coastal road about 1 1/2 hours to the port.

Here we park the scooters/motorcycles and take a private fastboat to 1 of the Gili islands. When booking you can choose which island, Trawangan is the most popular and therefore more people and Air is the quietest island.

Here you will stay 2 nights to relax on the pearly white beaches and possibly dive or snorkel.

Day 14 Gili Trawangan/Meno/Air - Accommodation

Delight in walking on the pearly white beach at sunrise with the knowledge that you will be here for another day of relaxation.

Walking around the island and devouring a coconut along the way with your feet in the azure water.

In the evening, a delicious dinner on the beach before getting into bed while dreaming.

Day 15 Gili Trawangan/Meno/Air - Senggigi

After breakfast, our fastboat is ready to sail back to mainland Lombok where the engines are waiting again.

A short drive of only 1 hour takes us to Sengiggi. Again a beautiful winding coastal road with breathtaking views.

Day 16 Senggigi - Sanur ( Bali )

From Senggigi, it is about a 1 1/2-hour drive via the capital city of Mataram, which we will ignore, to the port town of Lembar where we will take the 4-hour ferry to Bali.

Arriving in Bali, Padangbai is about a 1 1/2 hour drive to Sanur.

In Sanur, we have a Resort with 3 pools and right on the beach, what more could you want....

Day 17 Sanur - Nusa Lembongan

First enjoy a full breakfast before heading to the harbor where the fastboats are ( taking private boat is also an option ) that will take us to Nusa Lembogan in 1 hour.

Here our scooters are waiting which we will use for transportation on this island and Ceningan which is connected by a nice bridge.

Both islands are relaxing and have nice restaurants. In the afternoon we can explore these islands on scooter and see the most beautiful slices.

Day 18 Nusa Lembongan / Ceningan - Accommodation

Today you can take a snorkeling or diving trip with a boat that will show you the most beautiful underwater worlds in different places. Or relax in our luxury resort by the pool and possibly explore the area again, everything is possible.

Day 19 Nusa Lembongan / Ceningan - Accommodation

the last day to enjoy these two islands.

We take the scooter and go to a special place for lunch and another in the afternoon for sunset.

To conclude a delicious dinner again at a special location.

Day 20 Sanur

We take the boat back to the mainland and spend the night in Sanur again.

Same resort if possible

Day 21 Sanur - Departure

Today our driver will transfer you to the airport to fly back home.
